Design Guidelines (a sample)

Here is a sample from my first attempt at a set of design guidelines for the Uptown district in Port Alberni. The built environment influences so many aspects of our everyday life including our mental and physical health, connection to community, belonging, safety and even creativity! Not to mention our impact on the earth and stewardship of the environment for present and future generations. I look forward to working with communities to create design guidelines that reinforce and support assets in the built form and support a shared vision for the future.
